Course Distance: 12.1125 miles (12 miles 198 yards)
Entry Fees: Affiliated £8:00 - Unaffiliated £10:00 - On race day £2 Extra (Affiliated £10/Unaffiliated £12)
Start/Finish: The Pleasure Gardens, Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, Oxon.
Course Description: 3 laps of undulating private roads within the picturesque grounds of Blenheim Palace. There is one main hill at 2, 6 & 10 miles
Parking: the Palace authorities have agreed that runners travelling by car and spectators will be admitted to the Palace grounds free of charge on production of a race number if you have pre-entered. If you are entering on the day, please inform the gatekeepers who will direct you and any supporters to the appropriate parking areas.
Entry on Foot: If you have pre-entered please show your Race Number to the Palace gatekeepers. This will gain you free entry to the Palace grounds. If you are entering on the day, please inform the gatekeepers who will direct you to Race HQ.
Facilities: There are no changing or shower facilities but there are public toilets at the Pleasure Gardens and at the Palace. Refreshments are also available at the Palace restaurant and cafeteria.
Registration: There is no need to report to the registration desk on race day. Teams do not need to be declared, but all team members must be wearing a club vest in order to qualify for the team competitions.
Prize Giving: This will take place at the start/finish area near the Pleasure Gardens at about 4.15 pm.
Results: these will be sent to all those leaving or sending a prepaid, self-addressed envelope and a £1.00 fee or a n e-mail address. Full results will appear on our website www.woodstockharriers.com on Sunday 23rd September
Please note that event spectators and supporters will be allowed access to Blenheim Park and the event area free of charge solely for the purpose of supporting the event.
