Hi. Tuesday's session will be re-run of last years route called 'Swinging Sixes' which is a 5 mile road / trail route to Evenley Woods with a choice around half way to add some extra fun. IT WILL BE MUDDY SO PLEASE BRING OLD TRAINERS Leaving the club, head across the cricket field, picking up the path and coming out onto the Buckingham Road. Head right, over he A43 and up towards the turn to Turweston. Cross the Buckingham Rd to join the footpath across the field and and then right to pick up the track that takes us down towards Evenley Woods, when after about half a mile we all stop at the ROPESWING. The quicker runners that will get there first will be required to run 'SIX' hill climbs up towards the woods, whilst the slower / non hill deciders face a less strenuous challenge and will need to 'SWING' (at least a short distance) on the ropeswing before heading home. When we're all done we continue along the gravel path and reach the road to Evenley and eventually the village green. Turning right, we'll pick up the footpath that winds us back across the fields and eventually to the A43, back past Tesco's and then eventually to the football club. Yes we'll get muddy, yes we'll (perhaps) get wet, Yes we'll (hopefully) have a laugh as well ! Here's a link to the route: runkeeper.com/user/David-in-UK/route/745165Hope to see you there on Tuesday if yuou can make it. DAVID

It was brilliant fun - We all got extremely muddy and wet - I think the highlight was Sarah swimming in the water at Evenley!
